Natural Working Fluids in Refrigeration and Heat Pump System in Norway

Abstract

Refrigeration and heat pump systems has during the last decades changed to be more environmentally friendly, more compact and energy efficient. After the Montreal and Kyoto protocols, the CFC’s and HFC’s has been faced out in Norway due to high Governmental taxes and strong focus on natural working fluids. The presentation will give an overview of system development using natural working fluids in commercial refrigeration system, refrigeration systems in the industry and fish processing plants, heat pumps in buildings and in high temperature applications.
