All visitors to Mainland China must acquire visas in advance. Participants residing outside Mainland China are advised to provide Visa information for yourself, as well as anyone who accompanies you at your earliest convenience. If requested, our secretariat will send you an official invitation letter which might be a required document for your visa application. The Longest Stay shown in the invitation letter will be 15 days, and the number of entries is only once. Please choose your date of first entry carefully.

Conference participants should familiarize themselves with visa requirements well in advance of the conference. The ICCR2018 conference organizers encourage you to apply for visa as early as possible, at least 3 months prior to the conference.

China F Visa Application 
F Visa is issued to an alien who is invited to China for a visit, an investigation, a lecture, to do business, scientific-technological and culture exchanges, short-term advanced studies or internship for a period of no more than six months.


Requirements for F Visa: 
Generally, the following documents are required for obtaining Chinese F Visa. However, the requirement may vary from country to country.
1.  Applicant's passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2.  One accurately and truthfully completed Application Form. 
3.  One recent passport-size color photo stuck on the application form.
4.  To obtain an F Visa, you must have one of the following documents: Invitation Letter, Confirmation Letter of Invitation (with the invitation letter attached) or conference notice issued by relevant entity, individual or duly authorized Chinese institute. The invitation letter should include following information:
    a. Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
    b. Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) of visit, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures)
    c. Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative of the entity or the inviting individual)
5.  For a multiple entry F Visa, copies of previous Chinese visas (on one A4 paper) are required.
Note: Under some circumstances, the applicants may be required to submit a copy of Chinese hotel reservation, return air ticket booking and financial proof.

Special Reminder:
1. The invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but the consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original of the invitation letter.
2. If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant.
3. The consular officer will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
4. According to China-U.S. Agreement on Mutual Granting of Multiple-Entry Visas Valid for One Year to Business and Tourist Travelers, the U.S. citizens may apply for a single-entry or double-entry, or a multiple-entry "F"/"L"/"M" visa valid for half a year or one year.
