Performance Potential of Refrigeration Cycles

In this presentation the performance potential of waste-heat driven refrigeration cycles is analyzed. Based on first order principles and under due consideration of the influence of working fluid and component properties, a relative ranking of the performance potential is derived that may serve as a guide to develop improvements and future research effort.
